Advantages, disadvantages, and temperature resistance performance of silicone fluorine rubber
Silicone fluorine rubber is a special type of silicone rubber that has been fluorinated. In addition to the excellent properties of silicone rubber, it also has excellent oil resistance, solvent resistance, fuel oil resistance, and high and low temperature resistance. Can be used for a long time at a high temperature of 250 ℃, and still maintains good elasticity at -60 ℃. In addition, it also has excellent weather aging resistance and ozone aging resistance. Therefore, silicone fluororubber is widely used in fields such as aerospace, automotive, mechanical, electronic, and petrochemical.
Advantages, disadvantages, and temperature resistance performance of silicone fluorine rubber:
FPM (fluorinateds silicone rubber)
Advantages: It has the advantages of fluorine and silicon, as well as excellent oil resistance, solvent resistance, fuel oil resistance, and high and low temperature resistance. It is suitable for special purposes, such as requiring resistance to oxidation by chemicals, solvents containing aromatic hydrogen, and solvents containing chlorine.
The general operating temperature is -50~200 ℃.
Disadvantages: It is not recommended to be exposed to brake oil, ketones, and callose solutions.
Commonly used: on spacecraft components.
